The Brain Game!

In partnership with Berrien County Intermediate School District, The ChildTrauma Academy is pleased to introduce a new six-week course for high school students called The Brain Game.

This is a unique course, which is available on CD, teaches parenting skills through adolescent self-awareness. It is based upon the latest brain research and work of Dr. Bruce Perry.

A primary goal of this course is to influence young people to postpone pregnancy. If the course prevents a single student from dropping out of school due to pregnancy, the course will have paid for itself many times over. Another major goal of the course is to teach good, literacy-rich parenting skills to future parents, rather than providing expensive remediation programs for ill-equipped parents of at-risk children.
