Mrs. Arcidiacono
is a ChildTrauma Fellow
currently
completing her Masters degree in Social Work at the
University of Houston with a concentration in
children and family.
Mrs. Arcidiacono grew up in Reisterstown, Maryland and later Dallas, Texas.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University
in Psychology and Women's Studies.
Mrs. Arcidiacono has developed programs for
families and individuals
experiencing grief/traumatic loss. She is working
to create community integration programs and materials for
helping groups deal with traumatic loss including
churches, schools, teachers, communities and businesses.
She also works
as an advocate for children, young adults and their
families dealing with issues as a result of a
Traumatic Brain Injury. She is available to provide
training and consultation on grief/traumatic loss
program development, facilitate support groups and
organize public awareness efforts.
In addition to her clinical
efforts, Mrs. Arcidiacono works to organize
fundraising efforts and events to generate operating
support.
